UCSC Food Ways Dinner for Student Success

The Center for Agroecology is planning to host a five-course benefit Foodways Fund dinner onsite at the UCSC Farm featuring Alice Waters as guest of honor and inspiration. This event will highlight seasonal produce from the farm and be prepared by the student culinary team that has been working under Chef Brooks Schmitt over the past two and a half years. The evening will include a farm tour, silent auction, live music, a presentation on our campus programs, and a seated dinner in the historic Cowell Ranch Haybarn. Please join us for an exceptional evening to uplift, connect, and nourish our vision of a just and sustainable food system for all. Benefit tickets are available for $225 per person. If interested in sponsoring a group you may purchase 4 tickets for $825 or 6 tickets for $1,200. Fair market value for each ticket is $100 for the meal and $125 for tax deduction purposes. All proceeds go to support our student staffing, regional sourcing, and direct programs from our fields to our non-transactional cafe at UCSC.
